About Picwords

Our aim is to teach and learn new words using drawings for each unit.5th grade students will be included in this project. Students and teachers will prepare their picwords together. It will last 7 months from November to May.Every month, students will share their picwords on Twinspace. At the end of the year, we will exhibit.

By this project;
-Students will be able to remember the words easily
-Students will be able to have fun by drawing
-Students will be able to enlarge their imagination

Process

It'll last from November to May
Every month, students will draw picwors of the unit
-November- My town
-December- Games and Hobbies
-January- My Daily Routine
-February- Health
-March- Movies
-April- Party Time
-May- Fitness + Questionnaire + e-Book
Every month, they will prepare the board with picwords
Online meeting with the participants
On Twinspace, students and teacher will share the drawings
Some web2 tools will be utilized.

Results

At the end;
students will have learned at least 30 words
students will have fun
students will develop their imagination and drawings
students will develop their creativity
we will publish a ebook related to picwords
